Hardwood Stairs

 

Prodigy Hardwood Interiors offers custom capabilities in the construction of your staircase components. Straight, curved, spiral, and other designs all fit within the scope of work at our small custom stair shop. Many of the baluster, newel, handrail and fitting profiles are standard, however custom options are available.

 

Our custom crafted hardwood flooring is the driving force for Prodigy and we have utilized more than 50 species over the last couple decades in satisfying the wishes of our customers. During that time we've had need to accommodate their needs for stairs as well in those same species.

 

We love a challenge and the staircase in your home is a wonderful place to make a style statement. Many memorable photos are taken on the stairs of the family home and often the staircase is placed in or near the entry of your home for all to see. It is part of your home's first impression.

 

For the selection of stair components you will need, we will send you a catalog of styles to choose from. It would be best to have your stair builder or trim carpenter select the individual components you will need, unless you are within an approximate 50 mile radius of Louisville, KY and wish to work with our contracting division. More photos and info will be coming soon.
